Terms of Service
Last updated: October 30, 2026
These terms govern your use of Borderless, a service operated by Pixel Drift LLC of Santa Barbara, California ("we", "us"). By using Borderless you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
01Your account
You need a valid email to create an account, and you are responsible for activity under it. Keep your login secure and tell us at hello@ibuiltthis.ai if you suspect someone else has access. Guest mode needs no account and stores data only on your device.
02Your content
What you create is yours. You give us only the limited permission needed to store, sync, process and display it so the service works, including sending it to the AI providers described in our Privacy Policy when you use AI features. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload or record.
03AI features
Live Notes, transcription, diagrams and illustrations are generated by AI. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate or simply wrong. Review it before you rely on it, especially for exams, legal, medical, financial or other important decisions.
Recording laws differ by place. Get consent where it is required before recording a class, meeting or conversation.
04Fair use limits
AI features cost real money to run. To keep them fast and available for everyone, we may set reasonable limits on how much you use them, such as recording time, generations per day or file sizes, and we may adjust those limits over time. Automated or abusive use that strains the service may be throttled or suspended.
05Acceptable use
Do not use Borderless to:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including privacy and copyright;
- record people without the consent the law requires;
- create or share content that is abusive, hateful, sexual involving minors, or meant to harass;
- probe, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service, or get around its limits;
- resell or redistribute the service without our written permission.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
06Plans and changes
Borderless is currently free to start. If we introduce paid plans, we will show the price clearly before you are charged. We may add, change or retire features, and we will give reasonable notice of changes that matter.
07Ending things
You can stop using Borderless at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or if we shut the service down, in which case we will try to give you a chance to export your work first.
08Provided as is
Borderless is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non infringement. We work hard to keep your data safe, but we do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error free. Keep copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
09Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Pixel Drift LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past twelve months or 50 US dollars.
10Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Santa Barbara County, California.
